Ameesha Busy with PVC shooting in Hyderabad

Producer C. Kalyan and director Dasari Narayana Rao's Parama Veera Chakra will be further shot from November 8th to 25th in Hyderabad. The entire talkie portion of the film will be complete after this schedule. Only three songs remain to be picturised and these will be canned in Egypt, Kenya and Gudang. The previous schedule was shot in Kullu-Manali. While the movie will hit the screens for Sankranthi, the audio will be released in the last week of December. Mani Sharma provided the musical score. This is Dasari's 150th film as a director. The shooting of Paramveera Chakra has been happening in Ramoji Film City for sometime now. Ameesha Patel, who’s one of the heroines in the movie, is today shooting for some extremely emotional scenes.

Balayya Babu will be seen in two roles in Paramveera Chakra - one as an actor and one as a military officer. Ameesha Patel will play the lead opposite one of them. Neha Dhupia and Sheila play the other two heroines roles. As of now more than 60% of the movie has been completed.

Ashmit has handled nasty ‘Bigg Boss’ inmates maturely: Ameesha

New Delhi, Nov 11 (IANS) Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel says her younger brother Ashmit who is locked up in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house and was recently the target of inmate Dolly Bindra’s loud and nasty comments about his past has handled the situation in a very mature manner.

Ashmit, who is one of the contestants in the Colors reality show “Bigg Boss”, was involved in an MMS scandal in the past.

“I think he has done a good job, he has been very honest about everything and of course you have those nasty people who always try to create controversies; but I think my brother has handled it in a very mature way,” Ameesha, who was here to present designer Rocky S’ collection, told IANS.

“I am following the ‘Bigg Boss’ show regularly because that is the only place where I get to see my brother, as we are not allowed to talk to him, no mobile or landline facility.”

Ameesha also very sportingly tagged her brother as the “hot eye-candy” of the “Bigg Boss” house, who has been romantically linked to TV actress Sara khan and Pakistani actress Veena Mallik.

“I think he has got the right combination of being a friend and a flirt to everybody inside and I think it is great. I hear it often from other’s that your brother is the only hot person and eye-candy in the house.

“Girls better chase him because if he is not flirting back then there is something wrong with him - he is not my brother. And everybody knows it is a show at the end of the day; it is not that he is going to get a bride back home.”

The 35-year-old also admits she guides her brother on how to handle and deal with women.

“I have always told him to respect a woman and never hurt her feelings. There is no harm in healthy flirting till the time it makes the other one feel special. I don’t like women getting insulted and have always advised him not to do that.”

“Bigg Boss 4″, being shot at a house in Lonavala, started Oct 3 with 13 contestants in a house without any communication with the outside world. The contestants are under constant camera surveillance. Ten contestants now remain on the show after three weeks.

Ameesha declined Deol's Yamla Pagla Deewana Item offer

Urmila Matondkar, Amisha Patel, Mallaika Arora, Mahek Chahal

When Munni aka Mallaika Arora Khan, rangeeli Urmila Matondkar and apro Amisha Patel refused to gyrate with the Deols (Sunny, Bobby and Praaji) in Samir Karnik's next, Yamla Pagla Deewana, Mahek Chahal accepted the offer. Who? The girl who did an item number with Salman Khan in Wanted.

In fact, for a brief period, Mahek was linked with Salman. And soon after, she apparently vamoosed to Norway.

Mahek has now returned in all her glory to do an item number with the Deols in Samir Karnik's forthcoming film Yamla Pagla Deewana. And mind you, she was flown all the way from Norway for this. Desperation? Perhaps she was actually 'wanted'.

Incidentally, the item number that has been choreographed by Caesar (of the Bosco-Caesar jodi), has been sung by Mamta Sharma, who sang Munni badnaam hui in Dabangg. It's obviously not a surprise that the Yamla... team were very keen to have Mallaika shimmy for the item number but reportedly she no longer wants to item numbers for any film that is not under her home banner.

We were hoping to watch you act as well, Mallaika, but oh well...

When contacted however, Karnik said "Mahek was always the first choice for the item number in Yamla Pagla Deewana."

When asked if Urmila, Mallaika and Amisha were offered the part or not, he added, "No, nothing like that."

Well, in that case, what Amisha told us may come as a surprise to you, Karnik. The actress confirmed the story and said, "I was offered this song. I did not refuse it. I was in Manali, busy shooting. I requested the producers to adjust my dates but they couldn't, as they were on a very tight schedule. I would love to work with the Deols any day, anytime.
