The actress gifted a luxury car to Kuunal Goomer as a Xmas gift
Ameesha Patel's beau is one lucky man. Kuunal Goomer who is also her movie production partner received a brand new luxury car as his Christmas present from his ladylove.
A friend of the actress tells us, "Ameesha had planned this surprise in advance and had accordingly booked the car at the showroom. And since it was Christmas on Sunday, she opted to have it delivered to Kuunal on that day."
Ameesha's friend further points out, "She's very happy with the way this relationship is going. At the same time, she wanted to convey her joy for the way he is helping her with her maiden film production venture. And since the car is from Kuunal's favourite international motor brand, she decided on it for him."
It is learnt that this gift for her boyfriend has cost Ameesha about Rs 38 lakh. We're also told that this car, in black, is a top-end design and comes loaded with many features.

Says the excited actress, "What's striking is that I will romance not one but two Sunnys, as he is playing a double role. It's a first for him and for me too. Sunny's comic timing is excellent, and the audiences loved him in Yamla Pagla Deewana. This film captures his comic side again."
Ameesha plays a glamorous diva in the film, who is being pursued by three men - Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Prakash Raj. Apart from the pairing with Sunny, Ameesha's plate is full with work pouring in from other banners.
Her own home production with business partner Kuunal Goomer is moving ahead full swing. "Shortcut Romeo with Neil Nitin Mukesh will be a surprise for the audience. And David Dhawan, who is directing our first film, has a superb script in place. Looking at the success of The Dirty Picture, we have zeroed in on a heroine-centric concept that is super spicy. Priyadarshan too will make an announcement soon about the next film from our banner," she says.
The actress is looking forward to the coming year. She adds, "I have six releases in 2012. I am so excited that I just can't wait for the new year to set in." Co-produced by Sunny Deol's banner Vijayta Films and directed by Neerraj Pathak, the film goes on floors in January 2012.
Actress Ameesha Patel is absolutely loving the attention she's getting from producers, directors and actors alike. Her own production house with partner Kuunal Gommer kicked off rather well.
And David Dhawan and Priyandarshan are working on scripts with her as the heroine. She says, "I have had such a beautiful year. Everything I had planned has worked out. My plate is full with films. And I'm very excited about it."
Meanwhile, while she doesn't get much time to work out, she's sticking to healthy eating habits and tries to hit the gym every now and then. "My friends have been asking me to schedule them in my work diary, so we can spend sometime together. I can't wait for the new year to set in. God's been so great and kind."

They last worked together 10 years ago. But the on-screen chemistry between Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol has had more than a lasting impression, making the 2001 romantic film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha the fifth highest grossing film in the industry till date. 
And now, Mumbai Mirror has learnt that producer Fauzia Arshi and director Neeraj Pathak are keen on cashing in on the dynamic duo in their action thriller Bhaiyyaji Superhit, under the Daily Multimedia banner.
A friend close to the director revealed that the male leads in the film were confirmed, but finding a female lead proved to be a major challenge. Pathak's friend explained how the decision to cast Ameesha opposite Sunny came about, saying, "Sunny, Arshad and Tusshar were brought on-board some time ago. But, Fauzia and Neeraj spent a lot of time deliberating about which actress to approach to essay the female lead in the film. It then occurred to them that Sunny and Ameesha were an outstanding on-screen couple in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Also, she seemed like the apt choice for the character."
When contacted, Arshi confirmed the news, "We had to start shooting in January. We had finalised the entire cast with Sunny, Arshad and Tusshar, but we could not finalise the female lead. We brainstormed a lot of options. When Ameesha's name came up, everyone loved the idea of having her on-board. And so, she will start shooting for Bhaiyyaji Superhit in the first week of January."
