EARLIER at Airport : Amisha harassed at Kolkata airport
Amisha Patel's jaunt to Kolkata for a professional commitment yesterday morning turned out to be her worst nightmare. Amisha was allegedly mistreated by airport security staff, leaving her indignant. She has now written a formal letter to the head of the security staff at the airport complaining about the same.
An eye witness said, "Amisha was at the security check around seven in the morning when she had an altercation with a woman at the security check. Amisha was polite but the lady was extremely rude; when Amisha asked for a tray to place her bag in, the lady threw her bag. Amisha told her that the least she could do is smile and be polite. However the lady was in a grumpy mood and gave Amisha a piece of her mind.
Amisha was so annoyed that she went to speak to the head of the security staff. Here she was given an explanation that the lady had been working night shifts and was thus grumpy.
When Amisha requested that the least she could have done was to be polite, she was told that the security staff has an army background and so they are rude.
Amisha insisted that she would complain against the lady who was rude to her and wrote about this incident and gave it to the security guard."
The eye witness further wrote, "Amisha was seen talking to the officials of the airline which she was traveling with and they also voiced her opinion that the security staff was extremely rude. Amisha though expressed her doubts if the letter would do any good."
When contacted Amisha Patel said, "I don't wish to comment on the incident."

The baby shower which is reportedly going to happen next week is expected to be attended by Sanjay’s sisters, Namrata and Priya, along with some close friends. The venue for the baby shower is special too. Amisha took her father’s help and has booked the restaurant-cum-lounge bar Veda which is new in Mumbai and yet not open for commoners. So, it’s going to be a fun evening with friends for Ami. However, the godh bharai ceremony is planned for October, tells the actress to a tabloid.

She added, "We r super excited bout the baby shower. Theme is blue n pink as we don't kno wethr its gonna b boys or girls. The cupcakes r so yummy! Wish us luk that the baby shower goes real well..sooo many guests n soo much to organise. Special day for a special lady."

Usually, when at the races, the race-goer's eyes are fixed either on the horses or on the tote charts. However, the attention of the race-goers was briefly, but emphatically diverted as Patel ambled down to the winners' enclosure, as a desperate crowd milled around the VIP enclosure, almost despairingly trying to get a glimpse of her. “I have a special place in my heart for Pune, because I have always associated my grandmother with this city,” she said, as she handed over the spoils of victory to the winners – trainer C D Katrak and jockey Dashrath Singh .
The actress, who is also heavily involved in humanitarian activities, says working for the oppressed gives her great satisfaction. “I am involved with the United Nation Office on Drugs and Crime, helping them fight human trafficking. But it is working for animals that has tugs at my heart strings more strongly. I love working for animals because while humans have a voice, and have the ability to speak up when exploited, animals are mute observers. That is why I joined PETA years ago, and which is why I continue to work for the prevention of cruelty to animals,” she says
Now a jasoos from Juhu has dropped in to give me some khabar on Ameesha Patel, I’m informed that Ameesha is bonding big time with her momma Asha Patel. Seems Aunty ji was the person from the family to reach Hyderabad along with her actor-daughter later fainted on the sets while shooting for a Telugu film last week.
Itna hi nahin, Asha aunty has been staying with Ameesha at her Juhu pad ever since they returned to Mumbai a couple of days ago. And she’s ensuring that she nurses her daughter back to good health. The actor is also pleased to have her momma by her side, now that the two Patel women are back to being pals like the good old days. Kewl!

When Mrs Dutt developed swollen feet, the actress got her an iPad so she could laze in bed and surf. It also had the net card loaded so Maana didn't have to do anything but switch on her new gizmo.

Sanjay Dutt has been out of the country for over a month now and though he is constantly in touch with Maana over the phone, nothing can make up for his physical presence. So he has requested the actress to watch over his biwi. And Ameesha has been taking her job very seriously. Says a source, "Last week, Mrs Dutt's domestics fell ill. So she had to tend to herself and the stress sent her blood pressure soaring. The star wife was advised bed rest for three days. Ameesha rushed over, ensured her friend rested and fussed over her."
Home delivery
She has also been getting Maana dinner from her fav suburban restaurants as she can't travel. As for the baby shower, the actress loves parties and has taken it upon herself to plan it to the minutest detail.
The Ameesha-Maanayata bonding began after the former shot with Dutt for a film. When Patel's grandmother died last week, Maana was one of the few people she called.

Reports say that Ameesha mentally broke down as her maternal grandmother passed away recently. She was very close to her. The departure of her completely broke down Ameesha. Before she got over the tragedy, work called and she had to return to her shoot. Her parents asked her to take some rest and take a short break from work. But she wanted to absorb herself into work to get over the pain.
Says an eye-witness, "On Tuesday afternoon Ameesha just collapsed while on the set. Crew members instantly took her to a hospital where she was put on intravenous drip."
Her brother Ashmit confirms, "Yes Ameesha was hospitalised. I think the stress of losing our grandma a few days back and the heat and dust at her shoot in Hyderabad took a toll on her. Also, there's a round of very strong viral infection doing the rounds in the city. Fortunately my mom is around to take care of her. In fact she has almost recovered and is on her way to resume shooting."
But Nothing to worry AMEESHA SAID :- I'm feelin betr. Have rested all day ....Today Just landed in bombay. Was working all day. Then packed n left for airport. Been v hectic. Glad to b in mumbai. We all knw Amisha Patel has been signed to be a part of the Telugu patriotic movie Parama Veera Chakra. She will be pairing with actor Balakrishna. The movie is being directed by veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao.Her Shooting started on 19th August in Romoji Film City ...The scenes were shot in a Huge banglow Set ;she is appearing in Traditional role with Sarees.
Balakrishna is playing a dual role in the film. The movie is now shooting at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Some of the war scenes will be shot in Kashmir and other areas. The outdoor shooting will commence from November.
