Ameesha Patel Productions’ maiden film Desi Magic’s posters unveiled at a suburban eatery and bar in Mumbai on eve of Valentines day
Ameesha Patel Productions' maiden film Desi Magic's posters were unveiled at a suburban eatery and bar recently. Directed by Mehul Atha, it stars Ameesha Patel, Zayed Khan and Sahil Shroff in lead roles.
"As this is our first film
we wanted to make this event most memorable. I wanted it to be grand,
which is in tandem with our film's theme too," said Ameesha. Kuunal
Goomer, Ameesha's business partner, said "We as a team have been
dreaming of this day for so long and we're finally seeing the dream come
true."
The chief guest was Rakesh Roshan. Also present were the rest of the cast, which included Randhir Kapoor
and Ravi Kishan, as well as, TV actor Prachi Shah, Abbas-Mustan-Hussain
brothers and Prabhu Dheva. The film's unit will soon begin their last
and final outdoor schedule from the first week of March in Italy.

Ameesha Patel badly bruised her hands and legs while shooting
for an action scene in DesiMagic, her own production movie. A unit source said, "It was a chase sequence in
which Ameesha, who is being chased by a man had to rush down a flight of
stairs. However, while shooting, the guy who was chasing her tripped,
dragging Ameesha along with him."
Both
got injured in the mishap. A doctor was immediately summoned to the set.
"Ameesha's feet and hands are swollen and she has been advised bed
rest," said a source. Ameesha Patel and her Business partner Kuunal Goomer said via twitter..
Ameesha Patel's maiden home production Desi Magic, directed by debutant Mehul Atha, will see her in a double role for the first time. The film has Sahil Shroff and Zayed Khan as the leading men. While she has acted opposite Zayed in Vaada, this is her first outing with Sahil.
Ameesha plays two contrasting characters and her two looks will be revealed on Valentine's Day. Says Kunal Goomer, her business partner, "We are planning an event to unveil the film's posters live on 3D."
Meanwhile, the team is soon off to Italy
where they will be shooting a romantic number, followed by a long
schedule. "The song has been composed by Ankit Tiwari, who won accolades for Sunn Raha Hai Na Tu from Aashiqui 2 last year," adds Kunal.
Desi Magic is schedule for 23rd May 2014 release.

Ameesha Patel Productions maiden venture Desi Magic produced by none other than actor turned entrepreneur Ameesha Patel and her business partner Kuunal Goomer is all set to release on May 26, 2014 this summer.
The film's final schedule is all set to take off in Europe in the month of February after which the post production will begin.
The movie is a complete family entertainer
targeting all age groups this summer. The movie is directed by Mehul
Atha and the music is by none other than Dj Aqeel who turns music
director with this film.
