Four day Indian Panorama film festival in Shillong came to a conclusion today with a screening of few films in U Soso Tham Auditorium and few workshops in the State Convention Centre here. The film festival came to a conclusion with Amisha Patel addressing the crowd and a live musical concert
Many awarded and popular films were screened at U Soso Tham Auditorium, with the State Convention Centre playing host to a seminar and the workshops on filmmaking, cinematography, audio in cinema and acting. An exhibition was also organised at the State Convention Centre to celebrate the 100 Years of Indian Cinema.
A huge number of crowd were seen attending workshops on acting, cinematography and more. The crowd came alive during the closing ceremony when Bollywood actress Amisha Patel addressed the people of Shillong with her words. “It’s feels really wonderful to be here in Shillong. The people here are very warm and weather is excellent. My skin has already started glowing within few hours of my visit. I really don’t understand why many filmmakers go to other foreign countries when we have such beautiful location within our own country and NorthEast is one such region. People in this region have a very modern way of thinking and it is really good to see that women in this region are given the highest priority” said Amisha Patel.
