Ameesha to deliver into her evil side!
Yes, the actress will be seen going completely malicious in Shortcut Romeo. A source said, "Ameesha will be seen playing a scheming woman in the film. In fact, the scenes between her and Neil (Nitin Mukesh) show Ameesha in a different light altogether - far from the sweet sugary image portrayed till date."
Playing the villainous character has not been easy for Ameesha. She has taken it up as a challenge. And though sapping, Ameesha is kicked about it more so because it is in complete contrast to what she is in real life.
Shortcut Romeo is a cutting edge thriller where the actors are all set to outdo each other. "The film is like a game of chess... cut-throat and ruthless," added the source. When contacted Ameesha said, "It was the negative shade that attracted me to do the role and that is why I instantly said yes to the film." Interestingly, it is after over a decade that Ameesha will be seen playing a grey character. The actress had played a negative role in Humraaz.

Jaunpur (UP), Feb 13 (PTI) Adding glamour quotient to the polls in this district, Bollywood actors Mahima Chowdhury and Amisha Patel today participated in a roadshow in favour of Congress candidate Nadeem Javed. Ameesha to turn item girl
Ameesha Patel is all set to carve a new space for herself in Bollywood. The actress is very keen to do item numbers in not only her own productions but also for other banners.
At the recently held Apsara awards, Amesha Patel was the surprise performer. In fact given all the applause pouring in from not just the organisers at Wizcraft, but even Yash Chopra personally praising her for her performance, Ameesha now is keen to do more item numbers.
Interestingly just with one day's practice, the actress danced to the tracks Chikni Chameli and Ooh La La on the stage. Ameesha who will leave for Delhi soon will also perform on these songs at a high profile wedding.
And it's not just for her dancing skills, but Ameesha is also being paid a lot of compliments lately for her looks. The directors of Race - Abbas and Mustan - recently told her that when they saw her on the sets of Race 2, they felt that she had done a wonderful job of maintaining herself over the years. In fact they also said that it looked like Ameesha had walked straight from the sets of Humraaz to the sets of their film. The director duo are said to have also appreciated her for her performance in the film. Looks like a rocking start for the actress this year.
