The film will be shot almost entirely in UK. More then the locations, the duo enjoyed the summer weather in London, which also happens to be Ameesha’s favourite city.

After completing the shoots of her upcoming films, Ameesha Patel has finally allotted dates to Desi Magic — the film by her home banner Amisha Patel Productions.
A 30-day schedule has been planned for the film and it is expected to go on floors soon. While the movie has been conceptualised by Ameesha's good friend and producer Kunal Goomer, we hear that the actress has zeroed in on the director herself.
The film will mark ad-maker Mehul Atha's debut as a director. He has shot numerous ads with many top models and also with the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra. The movie, which has all the ingredients of a youthful entertainer, also packs in family values, and will see, for the first time, Ameesha playing two different characters. A source tells us, "Besides her own double role, Ameesha is looking forward to romancing two heroes on-screen. And the two actors will have important roles in the film. As far as other details go, the movie will be shot extensively in Punjab and London." Apparently, the music for the movie is currently being worked upon.
When contacted, Goomer told us, "Contrary to the double roles seen so far in films like Seeta Aur Geeta or ChaalBaaz, this one stands completely apart in its portrayal. I have attempted to create Ameesha's character in just the same way that Rakesh Roshan did in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai. The dual roles will be in complete contrast — one is that of a sweet Punjabi girl and the other is a sexy hot diva. Both will be challenging for her."
Race-2 completed long 70days non stop schedule in Turkey,Istanbul..the whole unit reached Mumbai just two days back, n next schedule will be done in Mumbai in two weeks time, Ameesha shooted a song where whole cast will be seen,few important scenes at Race course, and also a Bikini scene where she raises from Beautiful beach in Istanbul, its really hot climate in Turkey Ameesha Tweeted" Heading bak into the blazing sun to shoot again..gone from a white chocolate to a dark one..this is one heck of a tan.."
Ameesha Patel, who is back in town from a back-to-back shooting schedule of Race 2 and Bhaiyyaji Superhit, is not taking a single day’s rest. Instead she has been fulfilling all her commitments. The actress has been working non-stop for the last five days with only five hours of sleep.
Says a source close to Ameesha, “She returned from Istanbul a few days back and left for Surat directly from the airport itself to attend an event where she had to perform in front of a mammoth crowd. She returned to Mumbai immediately after the event as she had an early morning flight to New Delhi where she was invited as a chief guest for a ribbon cutting ceremony.

She then returned to Mumbai as she had a shoot the very next day for her sunglasses ad for which she has been signed recently as a brand endorser. The shooting for the ad went till the late hours.” The source adds, “Ameesha is going through the best phase of her life. She is back with a bang and is excited about her work. She is in no hurry to prove anything to anyone.

Ameesha has always maintained that highs and lows are a part of everyone’s life and today when things are looking up for her with five films in her kitty she is just loving every bit of it.” Ameesha is also slated to shoot for a song for Bhaiyyaji Superhit with co-star Sunny Deol soon.

The mood on the sets of Neeraj Pathak's Bhaiyyaji Superhitt (BS) is upbeat. Amisha Patel and Sunny Deol are in their element. Contrary to rumours of the film being shelved, it is being shot at a brisk pace.
"Why give unnecessary importance to baseless rumours! The truth will speak for itself," Amisha says nonchalantly when asked where the rumours began in the first place. Amisha has just returned from a marathon schedule of Race-2 in Turkey.
"My plate is full with lot of good work. I am looking forward to Shortcut Romeo and Race-2. There's also Desi Magic and Paradise Street being made under my home banner. The first has me in a double role, a brainwave of my partner and good friend Kunal Goomer. He is working on the script and I am sure the film will surprise all. And, of course there is Bhaiyyaji Superhitt," she smiles.
Amisha further says, "Sunny and I will be different in this film as compared what you saw of us in Gadar. What makes our combo even more interesting here is Sunny's double role in the film. I am flirting with one but am actually in love with the other. We have not resorted to slapstick humour that is so typical of double roles in a film. It also shows our innocence and vulnerability and that works in our favour as a pair."
Of Sunny, Amisha says, "His shy nature is so endearing. That is what makes him the star that he is."
According to Sunny, BS has stood its ground despite facing rough weather. "Everybody wants the film not to be made. I don't know why. But let me tell you that my fans are going to enjoy watching me in a double role," he smiles.
Director Neeraj Pathak adds, "Sunny and I just laughed when we read that the film was shelved. Our schedules have started and we don't have to prove anything to anyone."
