Ameesha Patel is all set to sway to the iconic Madhuri Dixit track,Ek Do Teen from Tezaab (1988),in her home banner,Ameesha Patel Productions Desi Magic.
A source said,Desi Magic has Ameesha in a double role here one character will be a rich (unpleasant) diva, and the other a Punjabi lass.The latter will dance to Ek Do Teen. The song will be recreated with todays audience in mind,the source added,and said,Music director Lalit Pandit will recreate the song.New elements will be added,while retaining the basic tune.Once the song is done,Ameesha plans to approach Saroj Khan to choreograph it.The team felt it could be none other than Saroj as she had choreographed the original track.Ameeshas partner Kunal Goomer has been working on the script and the film is expected to go on the floors in October.
Ameesha,a self-proclaimed Madhuri Dixit fan,who grew up listening to Ek Do Teen,says,Its still fresh in my memory.Ive performed to that song in my school and college days.It has that innocent sensuality and sexiness to it.We will raise the bar and make it absolutely trendy and shoot it on a lavish scale.
