Amisha patel organised the baby shower. Manyata Dutt is expecting twins.
It's a pink and blue theme party (girls are in pink while boys are in blue).
Actress Ameesha Patel says that Maanayata Dutt will always remember her baby shower — not just for the occasion, but because her sisters-in-law Priya and Namrata Dutt came. “They were all together and there was so much warmth. In fact, Priya won both the baby games,and everyone was joking, ‘this is cheating, the prizes are all going in the family’”, says Ameesha.
Elaborating on the party, she says, “There were big cushioned chairs for Maana and Sanjay — so they sat like king and queen at the head of the table. Later, they cut a pink and blue cake and we popped open 7 bottles of champagne,” she adds.
“Everyone called to thank me for the wonderful evening. I feel touched that in today’s age when friendship is rare, my feelings are being acknowledged and appreciated.”
